About the Owners 

The Algers have been present in Glen Arbor since 2011. Dr. Bradley Alger grew up on the north shore of Chicago in Kenilworth. He spent his formative years boating on Lake Michigan. Brad attended the University of Illinois for Medical School. Kate Alger is originally from Stanford, California. Kate spent many years enjoying the beaches of the Pacific Ocean. Kate studied Art and Architecture in San Francisco, and later she studied Product Design at Stanford University. Kate had always dreamed of a beach with no salt water and no sharks. Her dream came true when Brad introduced her to Glen Arbor, Michigan! Kate, Brad, and their 5 kids have been spending summers in Glen Arbor ever since. The Algers built a house on Big Fisher Lake on a 2-acre lot they purchased in 2018. Brad and Kate live in Denver, Colorado where Brad has a family medicine practice. Kate is a Product Strategy Executive for a software company.
